Butta On...Make Me A Supermodel

I've somehow managed to get sucked into watching Make Me A Supermodel. Until America's Next Top ~~Black~~ Model comes back for Cycle 10 in late February, this reality comp will satisfy my jones for vapid pretty types. But before I talk about the show, can I address co-host Tyson talking greasy about Tyra Banks? (Click on the link to go to Page Six to read him jibber jabbing out of the side of his neck about Tyra and ANTM.) Whattup with that? If I recall correctly Tyson made a guest appearance on this last cycle of the show, but now he's talking major smack. There must be more to this story than meets the gossip pages. Hmmm...

Anywho, on to the show. I have a few early favorites:

Jacki: The singular sista in the competition. I like her because she seems like a good, wholesome girl. Plus her walk is sick. But I really do need for her to wear her hair down and over her ears at all times until further notice.

Perry: He's attractive and I like his sense of humor, but dude is MAD SUSPECT. He allegedly has a girlfriend. Named Jake I'm sure. SIKE! Just kidding. I don't know what the guy's name is.

Jay: He's the only Black guy in the competition so I have to root for a brotha for as long as he lasts before getting prematurely voted off of the show while people with lesser talent and looks are left on to win and he has to go back home and work as a mechanic for the rest of his days. Sorry, I saw the writing on the wall and it was a run-on sentence. But in all seriousness, I'm digging this kid. He seems very humble, he loves his mama and his abs are to live for.

Holly: I have to admit, I wasn't feeling her at first but over the course of tonight's ep she grew on me. She's another one with a bad-ass walk, and she was wearing the heck outta that bikini. I just want to know why are they giving her the blues about her haircut, though. The MMAS judges were sipping on Haterade Cosmos dogging her 'do out. Did they not watch Saleisha and her Velma from Scooby Doo wig--that was so high fashion to hear the ANTM judges tell it--go home with the gold last month? I thought this look was all the rage?

We'll see how my early faves fair. I'll keep watching through to the end or until I get pissed off, whichever comes first. Did anyone else catch this show? What did you think? Did Tyson get on your nerves, too (he just had to take his clothes off)?
