Butta On...Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!

I'm a day late on the Happy New Year greetings, but I'll blame it on being sick. Yes, I rang in 2008 with a cold that has had me laid up since last Friday. But thankfully I'm slowly and surely getting better, and I'm gonna be just fine like the Mary J. Blige track. Speaking of MJB, Growing Pains is the bomb! Love. It.

And you know what else I love? All of y'all who still visit my blog despite my lack of writing diddly squat over here. I'm thankful that you all are still riding with a sista. I promise to do better in 2008, not just on my blog but in all areas of my life. There are a few things I want need in '08 (new job, new car, new body, new love to name a few), and I truly believe in these words that Andy said in The Shawshank Redemption: "Get busy living, or get busy dying." Needless to say, it's time for me to get busy living, which I actually have been doing over the past year, but it's time to take things to the next level both personally and professionally.

So that's where I am right now. Although I'm not making any specific resolutions, I'm looking forward to all things great in 2008.

OK, I need some DayQuil now. *cough* *hack*
