Butta On...Go Obama!
Wow. Just WOW.

Go O!

Barack Obama, a Black man, could be the next president of the United States. Like for real. Change is coming? More like change is here. Go Team Obama!

You know, B. I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about all of this and where my loyalties lie. Obama just hasn't moved me yet. Actually, if I decide to support Obama, it would be because of Michelle. Now there's something about her I know she would have his ear.

Hilary doesn't necessarily move me either. Almost the opposite actually. I have considered Edwards as well.

My thing is, I DO NOT want another Republican domination of the White House. I'm worried that people will vote against Obama, not necessarily for the Republican candidate when we get to the general election.

Regardless of who is the candidate on the Democratic ticket, WE must get out there and vote...although I must admit, even when WE do vote, the election can still be stolen. I hope the country never sees a travesty like that again in my lifetime.

I need to decide soon because I do want to work on a campaign. I'll be watching closely over the next couple of months.

You know, VT, I've always liked Obama and I've liked Edwards, too. However, when it comes down to it Barack has the edge with what I've heard of his platform. And his speech last night especially moved me. I wouldn't be mad at an Obama/Edwards ticket but I don't think that Edwards is trying to play second fiddle again.

As far as Hilary is concerned, I used to like her but the more that I learned about her and some of the shady/suspect political things that she's done, she would be hard pressed to get my vote. If she's the democratic nominee for president I would be giving the ballot a serious side-eye in the voting booth.

If these Iowa caucus results are any indication, then this is going to be one hell of an election year. I'm impressed by Obama's strong showing in this first contest but the race has just begun and ish is fixin' to get ugly. I'm definitely going to pay closer attention to this election now.
