Butta On...Check Out My Van Hunt And Gordon Chambers Videos
I am so behind on posting my concert videos to my YouTube channel that it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I was keeping on top of them for a good minute, but now I've somehow managed to amass over 50 clips to edit and post online. I'm gonna try to upload as much as I can over the next few days and this weekend because with five more concerts on the calendar in the next couple weeks plus my trip to the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival at the end of the month, I'm on target to have 50 more! Jesus be a personal assistant.

At any rate, here are the first ones from my archive that I uploaded last night.

I went to see Van Hunt in late October at the Black Cat and he turned that mutha out. Although I had seen him do an acoustic set at a bookstore a few years ago, this was my first time seeing him in concert and he is phenomenal on stage. His music covers so many genres and his live show showcases his musical dexterity. I'm beyond salty that his new CD is currently in limbo because he is without a label home, but hopefully it will get salvaged and somehow released. His new cuts that he performed at the show are the hotness and it would be a pity for them to never get heard. Here he is performing an old blues cut, "Mama's Got the Wagon":

The next set of videos I uploaded last night were from a private performance that Gordon Chambers did last April. I have his most recent CD, Love Stories, but I haven't been able to really get into it yet. However, after watching these clips, I want to go back and revisit it now. He has quite a flair for the dramatic, no? Here he is performing "I Wish I Was In Love":

Jesus be a personal assistant? Head to your first time out of '08....first of many I'm sure.

I'll be getting my video on at work tomorrow. If yo ass would get a job, TOMASINA, you would have time to upload these vids! Cause you know that's where I do my best shimmyshacking. Bwahaha!
