Butta On...Takin' It Back Thursday: It's A Big Daddy Kane Thing
I'm doing something a little different this Takin' It Back Thursday. Instead of posting a classic old school music video I'm gonna post videos of a classic old school artist. And if you couldn't tell by the title of this post the artist I'm taking it back with today is Big Daddy Kane. I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Kane--with his fine self I might add--perform alongside MC Lyte, Mad Skills and The Roots at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors tour when it flowed through Baltimore a few months ago, and I'm just now getting around to uploading my videos to YouTube. Lawd have mercy this isn't an easy task, but it is so worth it to relive these few moments that I was able to catch on tape. The concert was ridiculous. I can honestly say that it's one of the BEST CONCERTS I'VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE. Real talk. But enough talking on my part, here is the recorded evidence:

*side eye* I'm not going to even waste the few brain cells I have left pondering why it took you almost three months to get these vids up for your fans. You know that don't make no sense! LOL! I'm sure they will pimp slap you accordingly once they view them and see the hotness you made them wait so long for. *shivers at the memory of the smooth chocolately-ness (yup, that's a word) of the Smooth Operator.*

HA! Now as one who has caught the YouTube fever you know how long it takes to work with these videos. And I got to get all fancy and what not with my titles and credits. LOL My videos from Little Brother this weekend should be up by March.

I am glad to see that you have the YouTube fever, as well. Watching BDK's I Get The Job Done took me back to a super fun time in my life.
