Butta On...Tweet's Bad Hair Day

I'm sure that we've all seen the photos from this year's VH1 Hip Hop Honors special that will air this coming Monday on Black America's favorite channel. (If not, go here, here, and here for video.) After perusing the flicks and checking some of my favorite hip-hop artists out, there was one artist in particular that caused me to jump back and piss myself.

I love Tweet, but I don't love this look. The evil demon who possessed her to rock this mop needs to be cast out immediately. She looks like she is either ready to sit down with Donnie Simpson and Sherry Carter on Video Soul circa 1988, or, worse yet, join an 80s hair band.

At first I thought that maybe the throwback hair was a strategic move to go along with the whole old school theme of the night but then the rest of her outfit doesn't reflect that. Who approved this? Missy or Chaka Khan?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'll take this version of Tweet any day, all day:
